A: So dutch, that when the handle broke from my curling iron (shown above), I wrapped brown thread around the broken handle instead of buying a new one. Every morning, even I cringe a little.
Ha! Jamie, I admire your frugality. But, girl, it is not worth the risk of burning your hands when you curl your hair!You really need to buy a new one!
I'm so Dutch that I have cut my Clinique makeup tube to get the tiny little bit that is stuck near the top. I now reach my finger in and then apply. I didn't learn this at the department store makeup counter either!:)
Oh yes, that is some sweet dutchness. Professional Pharmacy has curling irons for sale. Please see me for more details. PS try Duct Tape next time or are you to cheap to buy that too.
Fig, I have heard that only you rival me in outdated computers. Ours is eight years old, so I am guessing the frugality extends to your homestead as well.
I too have a similar curling iron, except the little dial with all the numbers broke off. So I just try to click the little button in a certain direction to change the settings. I have no idea what number it is really on now!
