"He comes by it naturally," said the doctor when we weighed and measured Bryce today for his two month check up.
15 lbs, 9 oz.
25 inches plus.
Yep, that is the average five month old, folks. So much for having him look like a baby long.
Oh, and just because I put a new post up does not mean I am letting you off the hook for the Bible verse. I am seriously stuck! Thanks for the verses thus far, those are great.

"Peter walked on water, why should you?" I think that is somewhere in the back of the Bible. Elder Fig
Oh My Goodness - He is huge! He really is about the same size as Sylvia :) Maybe even bigger!
One more inch and 1 1/2 more pounds and he will be caught up with Julia--and everyone says she is big! She was 26 1/2 inches and 17 lbs. 4 oz at her 6 month. But don't feel too bad because my oldest was 15 lbs 10 oz. at 2 months :)
Holy cow and I thought our little guy was big at his 2 month appointment!
well, I just had Juliet in today for official 2 month weigh in.
12lbs. 9oz. 22 1/2 inches
a whole 3 pounds less than Bryce!
you are going to have huge biceps this summer carrying him around. Think Madonna's arms!
BTW, did you give hime the Vaccinations?
Not only that Chelle- Bryce was already longer than her at one week old. Yeek!
I gave him two. I am just going to space them out a little more. I orderd The Vaccine Book from Amazon. I am told it is the best for explaining all the vaccinations.
I've heard "The Vaccine Book" is great. We really worried about vaccines as well and it was one of our main concerns when we met with our pediatrician before our son was born, he really put our minds at ease about them, but then after he was born, we freaked out again and skipped the hep B shot in the hospital, etc.
We have spoke to our pediatrician at length about this issue twice since having Easton and we have officially decided to get all vaccines, we are just on a delayed schedule. Rather than a 2 month appointment - Easton had a 3 month appointment and rather than 4 months, he had a 5 month appointment. It isn't something our Ped. suggested, just something that makes US feel better. I guess, we just think waiting that extra month might help just because the babe is that much "bulkier" to handle the vaccs, etc.
We brought up "The Vaccine Book" by Dr. Sears and our Ped got upset because he said there is no proof that spacing out the vaccines helps the child any, if anything, he just finds it cruel because you're poking them that much more often.
Everyone has to come to their own conclusions about vaccinations, but that is just where we are at, like anyone asked, right? :-)
We're still a bit wary about them, but our Pediatrician has really reassured us and has two young sons of his own and went through the whole normal vaccination schedule. He said that we had more preservatives, etc. in one tetanus shot growing up than all of the vaccinations combined that our babes get these days. That says a lot.
Again, just where we are in this whole "vaccine" debacle. We always lay hands on our son before he gets his shots and we pray over him. The best way to assure the health of your child is through God :-)
*stepping off my soapbox*
wow, big lad!! KO is quite long too (64cm today) but not sure how much he weighs ... feels heavy to me! he outgrew his 0-3 month clothing awhile ago, and lots of his 3-6 month stuff is fitting quite neatly, and he's in some 6-9 month stuff too ... but i just figured the clothing manufacturers were sizing the clothes on the small side!
re: vaccinations
KO had his first lot of them at 8 weeks and is due for his second lot next week, but i really don't want to take him in again yet! did the book say anything useful? i don't see why he has to have so many shots so close together!
The book is awesome. Easy to read and understand! I am only on chapter two, but already I love it.
