Yesterday I called Professional Pharmacy to see about the stock status of a medication, and something strange happened. The call rang once, and a live person actually picked up the phone. No automated telephone service, no waiting twelve minutes, no elevator music, just a live person wanting to help me. Strange how if you think about it, that almost never happens. I even have to wait when I call Supercuts to get a haircut for Kayden. A beautiful thing.

You gotta love Professional Pharmacy! (and Pharmacy Care in Middleville) Most people are so used to the whole "press one for english" thing they don't even realize what they are missing when a Walgreens pushes the hometown pharmacy out. Drunk & Worthless (D&W) tried but it aint really working out for them.
I love you guys! The discussion goes on and on, to put in IVR or not. I say no. Some people actually ask why we do not have it, they rather not talk to a human but punch in their refill number on a machine. The older generation love talking directly to a person and will sometimes call us to call their doctor for them because they can't figure out the doctors phone system. Sad. I hate being just a number, I am the FIG.
Oh, by the way. I am not a croc lover, but am thinking about carrying them in the pharmacy. If they sell I will love them and even wear them. What do you think am I too late to jump on the croc selling bandwagon?
I am one of those nerds that would by-pass the actual person and email, or punch in a number on a customer service phone call. Sometimes it's just quicker.
Having said that, Prof.Pharm. RULES!!! You cannot beat the hometown Mom-n-Pop shops. Down with Walgreens.
I'd rather punch in a number too, Chelle!
Diplomat Pharmacy has a live person too! They even deliver my medications directly to me:)
I agree, it is nice to give the business to the smaller pharmacy's.

Don't, I repeat, don't buy the candy from PP, I have tried many times and always get stale, rock hard, stuff. Could it be that the mighty Fig sends it to me with love?
